  30. Okay, first off, it's not true that "Shareware is not profitable".
  31. Stand Alone (currently two people) make most of our living off of
  32. shareware...time limited shareware at that. Wake Up Week has won
  33. numerous awards, both in shareware-only and shareware/commercial
  34. categories...not too much of a blight, I hope ;-)

  36. Second, while I'm sure that for the UNIX world shareware is in bad
  37. taste, here on planet earth (my world, as I like to call it...)
  38. shareware is a perfectly acceptable method of compensation for what can
  39. amount to hundreds of hours of work.

  41. I've re-labled all our releases on AOL as shareware/30-day demos, so
  42. you can pick the terminology you prefer :-)
